Freelance SEO consultant in Seville and Andalusia
I help companies and local businesses win customers from Google. Doing SEO since 2017, with projects for brands such as Acciona and Clínicas Vitaldent.
I’m Javier Santos Moreno, a freelance SEO consultant based in Seville, specialising in search engine optimisation. I’ve been working on SEO since 2017 at agencies such as iSocialWeb Marketing and Comodoro Marketing, and I’ve contributed to SEO projects for brands including Acciona and Clínicas Vitaldent, among others.
The session is paid so that we both make the most of those 30 minutes and talk about your project properly. If we’re a good fit, everything we discuss feeds straight into the proposal.

What an SEO consultant solves (and what they don’t)
When someone starts looking for an SEO consultant, they’re usually at one of three points: they’ve already spent money on marketing and it never paid off, they have a business that runs on word of mouth and want a steady acquisition channel, or they’re simply tired of depending on Google Ads and Meta.
My job as an SEO specialist isn’t to “do SEO” in the abstract. It’s to make decisions: which keywords to go after, what site architecture to build, which content to cut, how to improve crawling, indexing and page speed, which authority signals to strengthen, and how to measure progress without fooling ourselves with vanity metrics.
Most projects stall for three reasons:
- They fixate on keywords with no clear search intent
- They build content with no site architecture or topic clusters
- They never connect SEO to the business (leads, ROI, CAC, average order value, repeat purchase)
The way I work is always the same: understand the business first, then design the strategy, then execute. And from there, month-on-month consistency.
SEO only matters if it brings in customers
Real cases: Ahrefs graphs by industry
I don’t just tell you what I’ve done. These are organic traffic graphs from projects where I’ve handled the SEO. Every industry plays by its own rules — from cut-throat ecommerce to international B2B or healthcare — but the pattern repeats: sustained growth when there’s a strategy behind it.
The data comes from the same professional tools I use every day on every project: Ahrefs, Semrush, Sistrix, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4.
Healthcare · doctors
Outranking directories such as Doctoralia and Top Doctors on key local searches.
Healthcare · psychologists
Qualified local acquisition in a market saturated by aggregators. Sustained volume after rebuilding the architecture.
Online plant nursery with a local focus
+700% organic growth in under 6 months, with a higher average order value and orders from the organic channel topping €6,000.
Plant and tree ecommerce
Sustained organic growth in a competitive green-sector niche, focused on key categories and product pages.
Olive oil ecommerce
Ranking key product and category pages in a market with strong seasonality and heavy brand comparison.
Toy ecommerce
Organic growth in a highly seasonal market dominated by global brands, with a long-tail focus.
International B2B advisory
Qualified acquisition in professional B2B services through technical SEO and content built around purchase intent.
Adult content
Architecture and technical SEO in a sector with its own rules, where execution matters far more than intuition.
My approach to SEO: 3 angles that work together
When I join a project, the first thing I do isn’t touch title tags or install plugins. The first thing is to understand how you make money, what you actually sell, what kind of customer you want and which part of the organic channel can genuinely move revenue. From there, SEO stops being “a list of tasks” and becomes a strategy built on 3 angles, combined according to the case:
Technical foundation and site architecture
So Google can crawl, index and prioritise what matters. Core Web Vitals and page speed, structured data (schema), robots.txt, sitemap, and hreflang where relevant.
Content built around search intent
To target queries that bring business, not just traffic. Keyword research, topic clusters, content analysis and search intent mapping.
Authority and external signals
To compete when the market demands it. Editorial link building, contextual mentions and local signals in Google Business Profile.
In Seville and Andalusia there’s an extra factor: in many local markets the competition coasts on inertia. That doesn’t make ranking easy, but it does mean well-organised SEO work shows: architecture, focus and consistency.
Areas of work: technical SEO, content and authority
As an SEO consultant in Seville, I approach search engine optimisation as a whole. These are the services I typically apply depending on where each project starts:
- Technical and content SEO audit.A full analysis of your website: crawling, indexing, page speed, keyword cannibalisation, architecture and content gaps. The starting point for any serious SEO strategy.
- SEO and on-page optimisation.Optimising titles, headings, keywords and search intent to target the queries that bring business, not just traffic.
- Local SEO in Seville.Geo-targeted rankings, Google Business Profile and local signals to win customers in your area.
- Ecommerce SEO consultancy.Category architecture, product pages and optimisation for conversion.
- SEO migrations and editorial link buildingwhen the project calls for it.
Every quote is tailored to the starting point, the industry and the scope. If you want to know what your project needs, we’ll go through it in the intro session.
Measurement and analytics: GA4, Search Console and conversion
SEO only matters if you can prove its impact on the business. I set up and analyse Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to identify which searches bring customers — not just visits — and to prioritise by return.
And I don’t stop at driving traffic: I work on conversion (CRO) so that organic traffic turns into leads and sales. I’d take one actionable number over a page of vanity metrics.
Ecommerce SEO
In ecommerce I work on category and product page architecture, optimising the products that actually sell, and resolving brand cannibalisation. You’ll find examples in my case studies.
My process, step by step
Technical and business diagnosis
Analysing the project the way Google sees it and the way a business sees it. Architecture, crawling, indexing, cannibalisation, content, authority signals and, above all, the real intent behind the queries that matter to you. Includes a review of Google Search Console, Google Analytics 4 and your backlink profile.
An executable strategy
A prioritised roadmap, not a pretty deck. This is where we decide what we tackle first, what waits, where the money is and which actions deliver the most impact per unit of effort. A 3, 6 and 12-month roadmap with measurable KPIs.
Execution and coordination
Hands-on implementation, or coordination with your in-house team (development, content, design). Either way the goal is the same: real, measurable, business-focused progress.
Reporting that’s actually useful
What happened, why, what we decide now and how it affects leads or sales. Reporting to make decisions with, not to tick a box. A monthly dashboard with real metrics.
Local SEO in Seville, the Aljarafe and the province
As an SEO consultant based in Seville, I know how local search really works across the province. I do local SEO for businesses in Seville city, the Aljarafe (Camas, Mairena, Tomares, Castilleja), Triana, Nervión, Los Remedios and Dos Hermanas, as well as the rest of Andalusia and nationwide projects.
Local SEO in Seville isn’t just Google Business Profile. It’s the combination of website, geo-targeted content, authority and local signals, all properly orchestrated. And in many sectors — clinics, professional practices, services with a mid-to-high average ticket — it can be one of the most profitable acquisition channels available.
For local businesses I combine website SEO with the Google Business Profile listing, genuine reviews and local signals (NAP, categories) to build visibility in your area.
I’m based in Camas (Seville), so I work closely with companies across the Aljarafe — Mairena del Aljarafe, Tomares, Bormujos — as well as Dos Hermanas, Seville city and the wider province. For projects outside Andalusia I work remotely: a good share of my client roster is spread across Spain.
Outsourced SEO consultancy for agencies and in-house teams
I also work as an external SEO consultant for agencies and in-house teams that need a senior pair of hands: one-off technical audits, strategy definition, roadmap validation or team training.
If your agency needs extra capacity or an expert second opinion on a complex project, let’s talk.
AI SEO (GEO): getting cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews
More and more searches end in an AI answer rather than a click. I work on GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) so your brand gets cited as a source in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google’s AI Overviews.
It’s a layer I integrate with traditional SEO: the same technical and content foundation, aimed at generative engines too.
Who I work well with
I work particularly well with three profiles:
Local businesses in Seville
Clinics, professional practices, advisory firms and services with a mid-to-high average ticket. Local SEO + authority + Google Business Profile as a steady lead channel.
Ecommerce and SMEs
Online stores and mid-sized companies that need sustainable organic growth without depending solely on Google Ads or Meta Ads.
In-house marketing or agencies
Teams that need external strategic support, a second opinion or specialist technical execution on specific projects.
We’re probably not a fit if you’re after shortcuts, immediate results with no investment, or someone to “do SEO” without discussing the project first.
And if you’d rather learn to make the decisions yourself instead of delegating them, I also offer one-to-one SEO mentoring built around your own project.
SEO consultant or SEO agency? The real differences
Some companies need an agency because they require a large team, constant content production or a high volume of tasks. But many others — especially local businesses and mid-sized ecommerce — need something else: direction, focus and a strategy that actually gets executed step by step.
An SEO consultant brings three things a large agency doesn’t:
- Direct involvement. You talk to me, you explain the business, and we work on it together.
- Strategic thinking. We don’t run isolated tasks; we make decisions with the business in mind.
- Direct accountability.Fast decisions and focus. That’s exactly why the client roster is capped.
If your project is a fit, working with an SEO consultant has one simple advantage: there’s nobody standing between your business and the person making the decisions. That’s why I’d rather work as a freelance consultant than scale an agency: more involvement, less noise.
How much an SEO consultant costs: rates and intro session
I work with projects that want to invest in SEO consistently. My full SEO strategies start from €1,000 per month, depending on the starting point, the industry and the scope.
That doesn’t mean “it costs €1,000 and that’s that”. It means that below that figure it’s usually hard to do work with real impact without cutting something that matters: keyword research, technical SEO, content, authority and reporting.
And to get started, I don’t do open-ended free calls.
Intro session: €30 / 30 minutes
In that session you walk me through your project, we review the context, and I tell you two things plainly:
- Whether SEO is viable for you (sometimes it isn’t)
- What I would do first to get results
If we’re a fit, we move to a proposal. If we’re not, you still walk away with clarity about your project.
Pricing depends on the scope and time each project demands, which is why we settle it after the intro session, with a tailored proposal and no surprises.
