One-to-one SEO mentoring with a working SEO consultant
I’m Javier Santos Moreno, a working SEO consultant with professional experience since 2017 at agencies such as iSocialWeb Marketing and Comodoro Marketing, and contributions to SEO projects for brands including Acciona and Clínicas Vitaldent. This one-to-one SEO mentoring is not a course or a generic training programme.
A 30-minute booking for €30. It’s the intro session where we run the kick-off and plan whichever mentoring sessions you need.
It’s one-to-one guidance from someone who applies these concepts on real projects every day. I work with you on your own context — whether you’re a business owner, a marketer or a junior SEO — so you can make better-informed decisions instead of following borrowed checklists.
What SEO mentoring is, and why it isn’t the same as a course
SEO mentoring is one-to-one guidance in which a mentor reviews your project, helps you prioritise and explains the reasoning behind every SEO decision. It isn’t an off-the-shelf course or generic training: each session adapts to your case, your level and your industry.
The difference between an SEO course and one-to-one mentoring is one of kind, not degree. A course teaches you what a keyword is or how Search Console works. Mentoring works on your real project to unblock specific problems: how to prioritise actions, what to ignore, how to handle a traffic drop, or where to attack a competitive market.
In mentoring with me I don’t hand you closed answers: we work together to analyse a project, understand search intent, spot genuine opportunities and rule out actions that add nothing. Often, progress in SEO isn’t about doing more things — it’s about stopping the wrong ones.
A working SEO mentor: where it shows
Many SEO mentors you’ll find online work mainly in education: they make a living teaching, selling group programmes or running an academy. That’s a perfectly valid format and it has its advantages, particularly in structure and materials.
What I bring is a different profile. I’m a working SEO consultant, currently at iSocialWeb Marketing, with previous experience at Comodoro Marketing and contributions to SEO projects for brands such as Acciona and Clínicas Vitaldent. Whatever I explain in a mentoring session, I’m applying that same week on a client account.
That has three practical consequences:
- What I share is current with what’s working on live projects today.
- The decisions we discuss have been tested on real clients, not just in theory.
- I can point out practices still widely recommended online that no longer perform the same way on real projects.
Who is this one-to-one SEO mentoring for?
This mentoring is designed mainly for three profiles, which sometimes overlap:
Founders and business owners
People with a website, ecommerce store or local business who want to understand SEO well enough to judge whether what they’re being sold makes sense, what to ask of a supplier and where the real opportunities are. They want to understand SEO so they don’t have to trust third parties blindly.
Marketers and junior SEOs
Professionals who have already worked on SEO but feel they’re progressing without a solid foundation. They execute tasks, follow checklists, try things — and what’s missing is the big picture, confidence in decisions and a clear way to analyse projects.
Agencies with no senior SEO on staff
Marketing teams or small agencies that need SEO support without hiring a senior full time. Unblocking specific problems, second opinions or strategic validation.
It’s a particularly good fit if you’re a freelancer or consultant who wants to offer SEO services and make a living from it, if you’re learning SEO from scratch or self-taught and want applied judgement, or if you already have a project (a business, an ecommerce store or a niche site) and need to move faster without losing time on trial and error. I work with students at very different levels and adapt the pace to each one.
It’s probably not the mentoring you’re looking for if you want shortcuts, magic formulas or immediate results without effort, or if you don’t yet have a real project to work on.
What you can work on in mentoring with me
Every session adapts to you, but we typically work on things like:
- Site architecture and content structure:how to organise a website with Google and the user in mind, rather than on instinct.
- Keyword research grounded in real search intent:not endless lists that lead nowhere.
- SEO audits and project reviews:spotting errors on your site, cannibalisation, technical problems or decisions that were mis-framed from the start.
- Advanced technical SEO:Core Web Vitals, schema markup, crawling, indexing and URL architecture.
- Local SEO and Google Business Profilefor businesses with a physical presence.
- Ecommerce SEOand ranking product pages, categories and internal linking.
- GEO and AI SEO:how to build visibility so you get cited in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini or Perplexity (Generative Engine Optimization).
- How to handle traffic dropsand Google algorithm updates.
- Strategy, action plan and prioritisation:what to tackle first and what can wait.
- Content and E-E-A-T:how to create genuinely useful content that conveys experience, authority and trust, especially in sensitive or highly competitive sectors.
- Link building and authority:how to earn quality links and strengthen your domain’s authority without risking penalties.
- SEO for niche projects:how to choose, build and scale profitable niche sites, from initial analysis through to monetisation.
- SEO migrations:how to plan domain, CMS or structural changes and their redirects without losing traffic or authority.
- Analytics with Google Search Console and Ahrefs:how to read your project’s data to decide with evidence and measure whether what you’re doing works.
Always from a practical angle, with real examples and clear decisions. If there are tasks between sessions, they’re the ones that make sense for your specific case. I’d rather you understood the reasoning than sent you off to do things without knowing why.

How the mentoring works, step by step
First you book the 30-minute intro session for €30 via Calendly. On that first call we run a kick-off: you explain your project, your situation and your goals, and we decide together how to shape the mentoring around your case (number of sessions, format, schedule).
From there, mentoring sessions are individual and held online via Zoom or Google Meet (in person if you’re in Seville or the Aljarafe). Before each call you send me a brief summary of where you are, so we don’t spend the session on context. During the session we go straight to the problem or goal on your table.
You can come with specific questions, with a project to review, or simply with the feeling of being stuck. My job is to help you order your thinking, prioritise actions and make decisions that hold up both as SEO and as business.
Every mentoring engagement starts from where you are now and we build a tailored roadmap together; between sessions you have support to resolve questions as you implement.
My daily stack in every mentoring session
These are the professional SEO tools I use every day and have access to. During a one-to-one session I pull the data on your site, your competitors or your industry and walk you through it so you can make the decisions:
How to book your SEO mentoring
Intro session of €30 (30 minutes)
Before any mentoring we book a 30-minute intro session for €30. On that first call we run a kick-off where:
- You walk me through your project and your situation in detail.
- We define what you need to work on in the mentoring.
- We agree the format and schedule for whichever sessions you need.
From that first call we decide together how to shape the following sessions around your specific case — no fixed packages and no commitment to continue.
How much does SEO mentoring cost?
The first step is a €30 intro session (30 minutes): a briefing where we look at your situation and whether we’re a fit. From there, mentoring costs €170 per hour, in one-hour video sessions you can record and review: individually or in tailored bundles, depending on your goals and the pace you want to keep.
I’d rather adapt the format to each person than sell a fixed package: tell me where you want to get to and I’ll propose the cadence and scope that make sense.
SEO mentoring online across Spain (and in person in Seville)
I work from Seville and my mentoring is 100% online by default, which lets me work with founders and marketing professionals across Spain as well as projects in Latin America.
If you’re in Seville city, the Aljarafe (Camas, Mairena, Tomares) or Dos Hermanas and you’d prefer in-person mentoring, we can arrange that too once we’ve coordinated it in the intro session. That’s the only difference in format; the content and the price are the same.
